ID Theft and Copiers

How many times have you gone to Kinkos, Staples or other venues to make copies?

Did you know that most modern copying machines  have a hard drive that actually stores copies made?  The only thing a ID thief would have to do is to hack into the company’s hard drive and harvest the information.  It is also possible when companies replace their computers the hard drives could be hacked once the copiers are removed.  Click here for a story ran on CBS
